Nigerian premier league side Enyimba International F.C of Aba central midfielder Zaka Bala has
dismissed claim that the two-time CAF
Champions League winners were out of
the title race of the Glo Premier League.
Things have been tough for the Aba side,
who Monday placed their technical
adviser, Zachary Baraje and assistant,
Monday Odigie on indefinite suspension
over the poor performance of the side in
both the league and the CAF Champions
League, from which they have crashed
out.
It is so bad for the team from the east of
the Niger as they have managed to pick a
miserly four points from a possible 12.
But speaking in an interview, Bala said
the side will overcome their challenges
and become a far better team.
“I’m worried with what is going on at
Enyimba at the moment, the suspension
of coaches over poor results in some
matches, among other things.
“I strongly believe that all things work
together for good. Enyimba will surely
overcome its present challenges a better
side.
“The trying period is momentary and will
very soon go away to allow the side
reclaim its pride of place in the domestic
scene.
“Once we’re able to win one or two
matches the confidence will be back and
there won’t be any stopping the side any
longer,” added the former Kwara United
star in an interview with supersport.com.
