Chelsea striker, Demba Ba, has revealed
he is likely to leave Stamford Bridge at
the end of the season, but insists he has
nothing to prove to Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho has continuously criticized his
three strikers – Demba Ba, Fernando
Torres and Samuel Eto’o – for the lack of
goals throughout the season.
Ba, who has only started four times under
Mourinho, enjoyed his rare moment of
glory, but is still likely to look for a new
club in the summer.
"I don't know, but it's highly likely I
won't be at Chelsea," he said.
"I haven't yet made my decision."
The Senegalese scored the important 2-0
in the 87th minute against Paris Saint-
Germain on Tuesday, which sent Chelsea
into the Champions League semi-finals,
and revealed Mourinho’s critic has
brought Chelsea's strike-trio closer
together.
"It did me good, because I haven't had
great times this year, the chance to have
fun, but I try to make do with what I'm
given," Ba added.
"I have a special relationship with my two
rivals with regard to all that has been said
about us in the papers, that Chelsea
needs strikers.
“That makes us more determined, and
we're more united to show that Chelsea
has three very good strikers. But we
don't have anything to prove to
Mourinho."
Tuesday’s goal was only Ba’s sixth for the
season, while Fernando Torres has scored
nine and Samuel Eto’o sits on 11 - each of
them has scored three in the Champions
League.
