Barcelona were forced to come from behind in a vital 2-1 victory over Athletic Bilbao that keeps their hopes of retaining their Liga crown alive.
After a wonderfully open first half in which both sides hit the crossbar, the visitors silenced Camp Nou five minutes after the
break when Aritz Aduriz found the bottom corner of the Blaugrana net with a fine strike.
The Catalans appeared to be heading for their fourth successive defeat in all competitions but Pedro turned home an Alexis Sanchez shot in the 72nd minute and then, just moment later, Lionel Messi decided the game with a low free kick, thus moving Tata Martino's men back to within
four points of Liga leaders Atletico Madrid.
