Liverpool and Chelsea led the way in the PFA Premier League Team of the Year with three players each.
Chelsea supplied Petr Cech, Eden Hazard and Gary Cahill, with Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge the Liverpool
representatives.
Chelsea put a huge dent in Liverpool's title hopes with a 2-0 victory at Anfield on Sunday.
But skipper Gerrard, and Liverpool's 'SAS',.Suarez and Sturridge, have already helped
to guarantee that the Reds will take part in the Champions League next season, and they remain firmly in the Premier League title race.
Southampton's fine season was reflected in the presence of skipper Adam Lallana and left-back Luke Shaw, both hoping to be
included in England's World Cup squad.
Manchester City duo Yaya Toure and Vincent Kompany, and Everton full-back Seamus Coleman make up the XI.
While many of the players involved were sent messages of congratulations by their clubs on Twitter, the Football Association
noted the inclusion of five players who could be World Cup bound with England this summer, stating: "Five @england players voted by professionals into @PFA team of the year: @GaryJCahill @LukeShaw3 Steven Gerrard, Adam Lallana @D--Sturridge".
Team: Cech, Coleman, Cahill, Kompany, Shaw, Lallana, Gerrard, Y Toure, Hazard, Sturridge, Suarez
